It used to have a total distance of 91.38 km (56.14 miles) and it was originally planned to connect Marchena with Montilla, a city where this line connected with another railway line between Córdoba and Málaga.
Later on, this initial route was modified: an alternative to the stretch between Écija – Montilla was introduced, becoming thus a stretch connecting Écija and Valchillón, town where this line connects with another one which arrives at Córdoba. Thanks to this railway line, the Compañía de Ferrocarriles Andaluces presented an alternative itinerary to the one between Córdoba and Sevilla, which was managed by the railway company “M.Z.A.” (Madrid, Zaragoza and Alicante). Afterwards, due to its low use, it was dismantled by RENFE in 1971.

The country areas that the mentioned railway line goes through within the municipality of Écija were sold to RENFE by the City Hall in 1986.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]FILE FOR IMPORTING TO YOUR GPS:

Importar la ruta a tu GPS.

ROUTE PROFILE:
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”][/vc_column_text][vc_zigzag el_border_width=”8″ css=”.vc_custom_1618396717713{margin-top: 30px !important;margin-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_text]

INFORMATION:
Villanueva del Rey (Sevilla) – Fuencubierta (Córdoba)
Distance: 30 km (18.11 miles)
Approximate time: 2 hours.
Website: https://www.turismosevilla.org/[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”white”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row gap=”20″ css=”.vc_custom_1618392954570{margin-top: 50px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text] greenway [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]The railway line Marchena – Valchillón, whose construction was finished by Compañía…

["post-26096","page","type-page","status-publish
],"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":
["GET
